What will happen to the world until The Saviour Jesus Christ returns with power and great glory - as prophesied within the Bible?

How should we prepare ourselves for what is shortly to occur upon this planet?

In these Latter-Days many Churches agree that the Bible refers to some harsh judgments that will fall upon the world as a result of the great evils existing due to the carnal nature of men that generally prevails today.

You do not have to believe in the Bible however, to know that all is not right in the world, for we see day-to-day atrocities being reported in the news media, as well as observing the strange changes occurring in the natural world.

The world is truly ripe in iniquity when you consider the awful crimes being committed against children, for it is not possible to have greater crimes than those against little children.

Because of the present condition of morality, there will be judgments from the Great Creator, the level of which mankind has never before experienced; for good must always prevail over evil to ensure our very existence.

Some people expound upon these judgments of God only, and paint a picture of great doom using such words as Apocalypse, or the great Armageddon.

While it is true the judgments will be very great, nevertheless the Bible contains a parallel set of prophecies describing the plan of God in providing refuge and peace and deliverance for those who choose to free themselves from the evils of the world.

I would encourage you to search out these prophecies of deliverance and learn how to become prepared for the fulfilment of the prophecies of judgment that are about to occur.  Seek this learning from the wise people that can be found in most churches in the world, for there is much good to be found in many religious organisations.

As for me, I am glad to be a member of The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints because of the fulfilment of the prophecies mentioned earlier in this presentation.  I listened to the message of the missionaries of this Church with my family and became a member on the 22nd of July 1961, at the age of eleven years and still reside in England.  As I studied the Bible and the Book of Mormon and attended various meetings of the Church in my teenage years, I learned much more about these prophecies.  I see these prophecies becoming fulfilled as the Church expands across the globe and as I witness the world news broadcasts daily.  I have no doubt that God the Father lives and His Son Jesus Christ was resurrected from the dead and is in control of His great Divine Plan for the welfare of us all, if we are willing to accept these things.

It is good to study all religions and hear their various messages, but I do recommend you contact the missionaries of The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints while they are yet available to the world, for the day will come when the purposes of God will move onward through the Judgments upon a wicked world and the time for knowing how to be prepared for these will have passed us by.

I wish the best welfare for all people in this world, no matter what nationality, or belief, or religious persuasion; and hope that we can all work together to make the world a better and safer place for our children and those yet to be born in the future.

I wish all who study the writings on this website the very best welfare and perhaps will have the joy of meeting you if you decide to join the same Church as I.

Sincerely

David James Joyce.
